Time to go to the ''off the beaten track'',
Peter’s Paradise. It took us 5 hours and Rp900.000 (for car rental) to go from Sumba Nautil to Peter’s Magic Paradise, located in the middle of nowhere, in the area of Tarimbang, East Sumba.
At Peter's Paradise, we spent the whole afternoon admiring the
tranquility, the landscape, and the bathroom. The bathroom?
Yes, the exotic bathroom which doesn’t have any walls! Try it and feel the sensation
of taking a bath without any walls protecting you :D

And then we spent the whole night chit chatting
with the owner whilst looking up at the starry sky. The owner is Yosni, who has
separated with Peter, hence the website has not been updated since.... and I
think the place has not been updated also. Hope Yosni and Ditmar can manage the
place, coz its truly a hidden gem. As for the room rate, I think it’s a bit
overpriced. Can’t complain though, coz we’re paying for the stunning view and
the sky packed with stars.
